Terms of use
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Skyward Solar website and quote service. By using the site you accept these terms. Please also read our privacy policy.
Skyward Solar (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a trading name of Apex Waste Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17025745), with its registered office at 37 Bull Street, Holt, England, NR25 6HP.
1. What we do
Skyward Solar is an information and introduction service. We provide plain-English guides and an indicative solar estimate for your home, and, if you ask, we put you in touch with MCS-certified installers who can survey your property, provide a quote and carry out the installation.
We do not carry out surveys or installations ourselves, and we are not a party to any contract between you and an installer. We are not a supplier of solar equipment or installation services.
2. The estimate is indicative
Any estimate we show is indicative only. It is based on the information you provide and on third-party generation and pricing data, and it is not a quote, an offer or a guarantee. Actual system size, cost, generation, savings and payback depend on a proper survey of your property and your own circumstances, and will be confirmed by an installer.
3. Introductions to installers
If you request a quote, and with your consent, we share your enquiry details with one or more MCS-certified installers who cover your area, and they will contact you. Those installers are independent businesses.
Any survey, quote, contract, installation and aftercare is solely between you and the installer. We are not responsible for their advice, conduct, workmanship, pricing, products or any contract you enter into with them. You should carry out your own checks and satisfy yourself before entering into any agreement.
We may receive a fee from installers for introducing your enquiry. This does not add anything to what you pay, and it does not affect the guidance on this site.
4. Our content is information, not advice
The guides and figures on this site are general information to help you make a decision. They are not professional financial, legal, engineering or planning advice, and should not be relied on as such. Rules, prices, grants and schemes change, so verify anything important before you act on it.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when using the estimate and quote tools, and not to misuse the site. Decisions you make based on the information here are your own.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, republish or exploit it without our permission.
7. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of installers, for the accuracy of any indicative estimate, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. The site is provided on an “as is” basis.
8. Third-party links and sources
This site links to third-party websites and cites external sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of those external sites.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or withdraw the site or any part of it at any time, and we may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any statutory rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings elsewhere in the UK.
