Honest solar guidance for UK homeowners
Solar is a big, considered purchase, and most of the information out there is written to sell you something. Skyward Solar exists to do the opposite: to help you work out whether solar is genuinely worth it for your home, in plain numbers, before anyone tries to win your business.
We model the likely cost, output and payback for your specific roof, explain the grants and rules as they actually are, and the installation itself is carried out by MCS-certified installers. If the numbers do not add up for your home, we would rather tell you than talk you into it.

How we research our content
Every figure on the site is drawn from authoritative sources, not other companies' marketing. For costs, grants, tariffs and rules we use the likes of gov.uk, Ofgem, MCS, HMRC and the Energy Saving Trust, and we list the sources on each page.
Prices, export rates and schemes change, so pages that rely on them carry a “last checked” date and are reviewed when the numbers move. Where something is genuinely uncertain or varies by home, we say so rather than guess.
